Terms of Service

1. What BestSlr does

BestSlr lets creators build a public portfolio from the stats of their Instagram, YouTube and TikTok accounts, and lets brands describe campaigns, find creators and be matched with them. We are a platform that introduces brands and creators. Any deal you agree, including its price, content and payment, is between the brand and the creator; BestSlr is not a party to it.

2. Who can use BestSlr

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and is responsible for your use of BestSlr, including any deal you discuss with a brand.
• If you sign up as a brand, you confirm you are allowed to act for that company or client.
• You may not use BestSlr if we have previously closed your account for misuse.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• Each account is for one person or one brand. Don’t share or sell accounts.

4. For creators

• Only connect social accounts that you own or are authorised to manage.
• Your portfolio is public. Anyone with the link can see it, and brands on BestSlr can find it.
• Your stats come from the platforms. We show them as the platforms report them and can’t guarantee they are complete or error-free.
• Don’t inflate your numbers, for example by buying followers, likes or views, or by using bots or engagement groups. We may remove portfolios or accounts that do.
• Being on BestSlr doesn’t guarantee you will be matched with a brand or offered work. A paid plan unlocks features; it never changes how you rank in matches.

5. For brands

• Campaigns must be for lawful products and services and described honestly. Follow the advertising rules that apply to you, including the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria’s, and make sure paid partnerships are clearly disclosed.
• Matches are suggestions based on the data available to us. Our team reviews them, but you are responsible for choosing who you work with and for your agreement with them.
• Use what you see on BestSlr only to find and work with creators. Don’t copy, scrape or resell creators’ data.

6. Messages

Be respectful. Don’t send spam, threats, harassment, scams or anything illegal. You can report a conversation; our team then reviews it and may act on accounts that break these terms.

7. Paid plans

Some features need a paid plan. We show the price and what is included before you pay. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, through our payment provider (Paystack) and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal payment fails, you keep the plan for a few days while the payment is retried. A free trial, where offered, needs no card, is available once per account, and ends automatically. Payments already made are not refunded unless the law requires it or we tell you otherwise. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to you.

8. Things you must not do

• Break the law, or help anyone else to.
• Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent who you work for.
• Collect data from BestSlr by automated means, or copy it to build another service.
• Try to get around our security or limits, access accounts that aren’t yours, or interfere with how BestSlr runs.
• Upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or infringing.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or connect. You give BestSlr permission to store, display and process it to run the service, for example to show your portfolio, match you with brands, and display your posts’ thumbnails and stats. This permission ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for copies we must keep by law. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The BestSlr name, logo, design and software belong to us. Don’t use them without our permission, except to share your own portfolio.

10. Instagram, YouTube and TikTok

When you connect an account, that platform’s own terms still apply to you. By connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Platforms can change or withdraw access to their data at any time. If that happens, some stats may stop updating or disappear from your portfolio.

11. Closing your account

You can stop using BestSlr at any time and ask us to delete your account; see Data deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

12. Our responsibility to you

We work to keep BestSlr available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, BestSlr is not responsible for losses caused by deals between brands and creators, by data the platforms provide, or by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we can’t settle a dispute by talking to each other first, the courts of Lagos State will decide it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as BestSlr changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using BestSlr after that, the new terms apply.
